Continuing Care and Long-Term Support

Recovery is a lifelong journey, and families play a crucial role in long-term success. Our continuing care team helps develop individualized plans to enhance the likelihood of sustained remission. This includes connecting families with ongoing resources, support groups, and educational opportunities. Learn more about our alumni connection for long-term support.

The Importance of Treatment Length

According to the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA), research has shown unequivocally that good outcomes are contingent on adequate treatment length. Generally, for residential or outpatient treatment, participation for less than 90 days is of limited effectiveness, and treatment lasting significantly longer is recommended for maintaining positive outcomes.

“I wasn’t sure when I arrived if I would do the program, now I am positive I have a new chance to make the years I have left to be sober, useful and enjoyable. I am very lucky to have spent three weeks at High Watch.”
