What to Bring

Be sure to bring the following items with you upon arrival to High Watch. Some items are available for purchase on campus. See the list below.

  • Insurance card, prescription card, ID Card (driver’s license, etc.)
  • Credit, debit, or HSA card to keep on file for the pharmacy
  • A list of medications you are currently taking with dosages and frequency, as well as the medications themselves. Please do not bring loose medications in pill organizers.
  • Laundry detergent
  • Toiletry items
  • Electric razor
  • Pillows and towels are provided. You may bring your own if you prefer.
  • Comfortable clothes and shoes – appropriate to season

Items You Cannot Bring

  • Alcohol or products containing alcohol (hand sanitizer, beauty products, etc.) - Alcohol cannot be listed in the first 4 ingredients.
  • Mouthwash (alcohol free is ok)
  • Perfumes/colognes/aftershave
  • Aerosol cans of any kind
  • Astringents/nail polish remover
  • Hair dye
  • Metal nail files
  • Vapes of any kind/electronic cigarettes
  • Sharp objects including knives, pocketknives and straight razors
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Any manual shaving equipment including disposable razors (electric razor or Nair only)
  • Hair clippers of any kind
  • Electronics of any kind (which include: cameras, cell phones, laptops, iPads, smart watches, gaming devices, etc.)
  • Food and beverage items of any kind (which include: energy drinks, chips, nuts, chocolate, bottled water, soda, etc.)
  • Any self-administered over the counter medications- any and all medications must go through nursing- including vitamins
  • Any pornographic material of any kind
  • No tattoo devices
  • Gambling material
  • Musical instruments
  • Exercise equipment
  • Rolling papers or “roll your own” machines or loose tobacco
  • Reusable water bottles, Yeti/Stanley cups or hydro flasks (High Watch provides a reusable clear water bottle upon admission)
  • Valuables extra jewelry or excessive amounts of cash
  • Candles, incense, or essential oils
  • Live plants, flowers, glass and ceramic vases
  • Picture frames that contain glass
  • Meta Glasses

Please note that we do not have a safe for valuables and we encourage you not to bring any unnecessary items of value. We do not take responsibility for personal items.
