Substances We Treat
Our Connecticut addiction treatment services center offers comprehensive care for patients struggling with various addictive substances and addictive disorders, including:
Alcohol Use Disorder
Alcohol addiction affects millions of Americans, and Connecticut is no exception. Our medically-supervised detox program provides safe withdrawal symptoms management through residential detox, followed by our comprehensive residential treatment program that integrates the latest clinical interventions with the time-tested teachings of the 12 Steps. Our behavioral health approach addresses both physical and psychological aspects of addiction.
Opioid Addiction
According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), approximately 2.7 million people had an opioid use disorder in 2020. Our treatment approach combines medication-assisted treatment with individual therapy, counseling, and spiritual support through our continuum of care programs. We help patients manage cravings and develop healthy coping strategies.
Prescription Drug Abuse
Prescription drug misuse has become increasingly prevalent. Our specialized treatment addresses dependencies on:
- Prescription opioids (OxyContin, Percocet, Vicodin)
- Benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium, Ativan)

- Sleep medications
Our professionals conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the most appropriate treatment goals for each individual's unique drug problems.
