Dana Pollack received her MSW from Fordham University with a specialization in addictions. She is recognized for her ability to develop individualized treatment for guests based upon their strengths using an eclectic approach. Dana has the ability to help people understand the underlying causes and conditions that have led them to self-medicate their pain. Teaching people the tools that they need to lead a healthy and sober life is what Dana excels at. She is trained in many types of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She is also working toward her certificate in Sociometrics and Psychodrama. In addition to individual therapy sessions, Dana facilitates the monthly Family Education Workshop and several weekly trauma groups for the guests.
